EVENTS Announcements

SUMMER, 2014: SOUNDTRACK RECORDING, TRAINING VIDEOS and TABLE READINGS (testing parts of the script) might be scheduled, if we get enough volunteers and funding.  Actors/Singers/Crew/Volunteers: click PERFORM.

Help struggling home owners as they fight against illegal evictions in winter!  Mortgage lenders continue to violate the laws, illegally foreclosing and evicting home owners who are trying very hard to maintain their homes.  The US Department of Justice is just beginning to take this issue seriously, now that we have increasing public pressure to crack down on banks, after more than 5 years of illegal financial dealings using taxpayer money.  In July, 2013, Richmond, CA became the first city to consider using Local Principal Reduction to keep residents in their homes––and two major banks responded immediately with lawsuits against that city.  Yes, it takes time and energy to fight for justice, but... THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!  Step up and do your part.  YOU can help make history by supporting the rights of individual citizens.  Click the link for HOME DEFENDERS LEAGUE to learn about current protest events, workshops, conference calls, and ways to help home owners who are facing illegal foreclosures.

  • Two minutes of your time can make a real difference as you sign a petition, or call the CEO of home owner's bank.

  • Sign up to participate in a conference call. They are held about once a month, and last about 60-90 minutes.

  • Learn about protest marches, rallies, and gatherings to protect a homeowner from illegal eviction.
  • Help Make It Happen! We have plenty of red ink to explain this Mortgage Meltdown. What more do we need? YOU!
  • Join a reading
  • Test a song
  • Stop evictions
  • Don't wait long!
